The Russian Tea Room’s event spaces are versatile and unlike any other room in Manhattan. In addition to the iconic main dining room, we have three private event spaces. Our art-deco stylized rooms are the perfect backdrop for a wide variety of events. From private dinners to wedding receptions, our special events team will tailor your event to meet your requirements and exceed your expectations. The Russian Tea Room can host private events ranging from 20 people up to 500.

Main Dining Room
The unique first floor is based on the original Russian Tea Room, welcoming guests with intimate red leather banquettes, art-deco era chandeliers, golden samovars, period paintings, and emerald green walls.
Capacity: 175 seated; 200 standing
Bear Lounge
The second floor is a striking art-deco escape from New York City, with a 15 ft revolving crystal bear aquarium, Fabergé egg inspired sculpture, and stained glass ceiling. The Bear Lounge is lined with red velvet banquettes, making it the perfect event for cocktail receptions and after parties alike. It is also equipped with with a balcony for live entertainment.

Bear Ballroom
The third floor is a stunning ballroom, with playful bears at every corner: in the etched mirrors and the grand bronze chandeliers. The Bear Ballroom also features 24 karat gold painted rabbits and silver leaf stag heads. Our largest private event floor, it has hosted wedding ceremonies, gala dinners, fashion shows, and more. This incredible space is also equipped with a balcony for live entertainment.

Hearth Room
The fourth floor is flexible and perfect for intimate gatherings. Featuring a model of the Kremlin throughout the four seasons, intricate wood paneled walls and a beautiful fireplace, The Hearth Room is rich and warm. It can even be divided into three separate rooms depending on your needs.
